Our Mission

Miss Jaspers’ House is an environment designed to draw out and develop creative and critical thinking, wonder and discovery, goal setting, problem solving, manners and virtue, all through practice and real life experiences. Children generate ideas, construct projects, plan outings, and take ownership of their experiences while working with a team. When we are able to view who we are there is no limit to who we can become.

”Our children are our future and my passion is to help them flourish”

"It is a privilege for me to work with many different families across the city of Sioux Falls and from neighboring communities. In a city with so many choices for elementary students, I am excited to offer a unique program where all children succeed because it ties together experiences from their home to school to extra curricular activities. I truly enjoy knowing families and working with you to create the best possible children, families, community and world.

Prior to starting Miss Jaspers’ House, I taught for seven years and was a nanny for 14 summers - eleven in Connecticut and three in Ohio. Miss Jaspers’ House is the culmination of all these experiences. Working together we all become more. I look forward to meeting your family."

"Miss Jaspers"

“From day one it was obvious that my daughter was going to enjoy her time with Miss Jaspers. They connected immediately. Miss Jaspers has expectations, but she communicates her expectations with patience and love. Miss Jaspers is one of the best investments I've made in my child's well-being."

Stephen Williamson

"We have thoroughly enjoyed the services, education, and spiritual leadership that Miss Jaspers has provided to our 4 children for the past 8 years. She is so very committed and compassionate in making all her children faithful servants, well rounded, and appreciative for all of their blessings. God knows we all need a little teaching help from time to time!"

“Upon joining Miss Jaspers’ House we had no idea what was really in store for our then 5 year old son, Tatum, but over the last 3 years he has grown so much with the help of Miss Jaspers’ House. In a society where children are quickly influenced to focus on “me” and “entitlement,” it can sometimes be difficult as parents to constantly try to reinforce that there is such a bigger purpose for them in this world. Miss Jaspers makes every single one of them feel respected, treasured and significant. Miss Jaspers is a true blessing."
